Naqel Account Deletion Request

This page explains how users of the Naqel application can request deletion of their account and associated personal data.

Naqel is operated by Ghayat for Information Technology.

How to Request Account Deletion

To request deletion of your Naqel account, please send an email to:

Your request should include the mobile phone number associated with your Naqel account.

For security purposes, we may contact you or request additional information to verify that you are the owner of the account before processing the deletion request.

What Data Will Be Deleted

After your request is verified and processed, we will delete or anonymize personal information associated with your Naqel account, including:

• Your name.
• Your mobile phone number.
• Your account authentication credentials.
• Authentication and OTP-related information that is no longer required.
• Personal information directly associated with your account.

Where possible, transportation request records associated with the account will also be deleted or anonymized so that they can no longer be directly linked to you.

Data That May Be Retained

Certain limited information may be retained where necessary for legitimate purposes, including:

• Legal or regulatory obligations.
• Fraud prevention and security.
• Resolving disputes or complaints.
• Maintaining necessary business or transaction records.

Any retained information will be limited to what is necessary for these purposes and will not be used to continue providing an active Naqel account.

Retention Period

Account deletion requests will be processed within a reasonable period after verification.

Personal information that is not required for legitimate legal, regulatory, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes will be deleted or anonymized as part of the account deletion process.

Where information must be retained for one of the purposes listed above, it will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for that purpose and will then be deleted or anonymized.

What Happens After Deletion

After the account deletion request is completed:

• Your Naqel account will no longer be active.
• You will no longer be able to sign in using the deleted account.
• Personal information associated with the account will be deleted or anonymized as described above.
